Big news for That0neGuy! He will be going to Frosty Faustings to compete under the Team 0-2 banner in Pokken Tournament. We are wishing him all the best and hope he will make a great bracket run. I know we have all been wanting to get back to going to tournaments regularly, and we are excited that we will have some representation at Frosty! I would also like to mention the other Michigan folks that will be at Frosty this year for Pokken:

Frosty Faustings starts January 28, and the bracket for Pokken Tournament is tentatively set for January 29th at 4:00pm ET/3:00pm CT. If there is a stream to share, we will let it be known on our Twitter account (@team0and2).

Hello everyone,

I know this year has been a rough one. With COVID-19 spreading across the US since February, in-person events pretty much halted. We all agree that events being cancelled was the right move to limit the spread of the virus, even though many more measures should have been placed by the federal government to make normalcy somewhat a possibility. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and the current administration and legislative bodies didn’t do enough to help the people nor limit the spread of the virus.

With that all being said, all members of the team are doing as well as they can be. Some have competed on some events online, myself included, while others are taking a break. We hope to be able to see people at events sometime in the future. However, we don’t want it to be rushed and we want everyone to be safe out there. Gaming isn’t worth dying over or harming your friends or loved ones. Please be responsible when doing anything in-person during this time.

With that being said, I do have one announcement. I will be helping stream/produce an event coming up in February 2021. We have been silent for a bit but it doesn’t mean we haven’t been active. This last weekend, I was at Combo Breaker competing in Tekken 7, Windjammers and Mystery Tournament. We were able to pick up a new member along the way. frostedflakes has been added on the team for MK11, and we look forward to seeing what results he may get. Team 0-2 was busy this weekend at Crepes and Controllers in Howell, MI. The team competed in Smash Ultimate and Pokken. Shout out to Helios42 on his 2nd place finish in Pokken and the best performing playing for Smash Ultimate. Here are the results from the event:

Team 0-2 made a presence at the Heroes: Ultimate Charity Event in Flint, MI on December 6th. SSFranko, Helios42, ProphetZ and hojo were all in attendance for Smash Ultimate and Pokken. Here are the results for the event:

0-2 | ProphetZ: Pokken 2nd, Smash 25th
0-2 | hojo: Pokken 4th, Smash 37th
0-2 | Helios42: Pokken 1-3 in Pools, Smash 9th
0-2 | SSFranko: Smash 13th
